"The American Way Is NOW!"

Did you know there are hundreds of phytonutrients in an apple?

Below is a photo of one page of many pages that list what's exactly in an apple. So there is something to be said when we literally say  "An Apple A Day, Keeps The Doctor Away."

In a “fast paced, fast food, instant gratification world” we tend to eat on the go and really don’t pay that much attention to what we actually put in our bodies. The food we eat and the beverages we drink can build up or break down our bodies ... but this doesn’t just happen over night. Think about it at the cellular level. When we eat a salad we know it is good for us but ... do we feel it working in our heart, brain, kidneys, skin, blood, liver, teeth, gums etc? No, we don't, but yet when we decide "I want to get healthy" ... we expect instant results!.

I find it interesting, when we hurt we take a pill ... and yes it may relive the pain after some time, but have you ever thought about what all the ingredients IN THAT PILL is doing to your body at the cellular level?

In this article "This is Your Body on Ibuprofen" ...it states... "So when we treat our pain, fever, and inflammation, we also negatively affect other critically important functions throughout the body" ... then it gives a list of damages.

Ok, now check out this list posted by Mayo Clinic. If ibuprofen can have "ALL" these side effects, imagine if your taking something a little stronger or additional medications that are NOT over the counter. Hmmmmmm, image what ALL your organs are doing (or now, NOT doing). When you think about it, if you’re having to take medication more than a few days, weeks or months, what other symptoms will you be creating while you may or may not have solved the original problem that started it all.

Our bodies are beautifully and wonderfully made and yes we sometimes need medications. My point is this, how many times do we want a quick fix and reach for something that can possibly mask the underlining problem, and are too busy to want to correct it the natural way? The American way is NOW! Everything else Takes Too Long!  Therefore we continue to take a pill ... and then to make it worse by continuing to eat and drink all the wrong things! I think it’s safe to say in some cases, diet, and lack of the right nutrition is what very well mat have caused issues & problems to begin with!

Dr. William Sears once said "75% of all chronic disease is preventable".

1 in 3 people live with some form of cardiovascular disease

1 in 3 women will develop cancer

1 in 2 men will develop cancer

1 in 3 people will develop diabetes by 2050

1 in 3 is obese

116 million people are living with chronic pain

US national healthcare expenditures are approaching $3 trillion a year

Not to mention It's been stated by Dr. David Katz, "This may be the first generation of children to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents"!!!

So if we, "The New American 2000.0" 😂😂😂, can take a tip from nature and eat what God created, we might live longer, be healthier, have less pain, sickness and disease. Just know that healing doesn't happen over night, but multiple nights. That heart attack didn't "just" happen ... it took years of continued damage.  Many times more than not, you can highly improve, if not heal, through healthier lifestyle changes and better nutrition.

The solution is prevention.

What you do NOW matters.

Every choice you make is an investment in you.

You are what you eat.

Be consistent with your healthy choices and know there is a better way to better health than by simply taking a pill.

So the next time you eat that apple, think about the fact that you're consuming  thousands of phytonutrients and absorbing the natural synergy that comes with eating that vitamin C.  That Vitamin C knows what to do when it's absorbed the way it was intended do ... and that’s only one vitamin mentioned of many others!

Real food does a lot of good things for the body ... but you’re not going to “feel” it immediately ... It simply going to take some time.
